Thanks to a generous grant from Arizona Humanities, the Sharlot Hall Museum has successfully completed the digitization of the full run of Yavapai Magazine—the only known complete collection. This rare archive is now available globally through the Arizona Memory Project, offering unprecedented access to educators, students, researchers, and history enthusiasts.
The digitization of the Yavapai Magazine evolved into an exhibit where Museum visitors can learn about the history and importance of this regional magazine in the early 20th century and what it took to digitize and preserve this entire collection. Museum visitors can view some of the original issues of the magazine including the original print blocks on display in this exhibit.
