The Sharlot Hall Museum Research Center (and Library) is a member of the Yavapai Library Network (YLN) and one of the few special libraries in the YLN consortium. The SHMRC is a non-lending research library that consists of books, periodicals, videotapes, DVDs and other items related to Prescott, its surrounding communities, Yavapai County, Arizona, Southwest and the West.

SHMRC includes several thousand titles, hundreds of rare books and special editions, locally published histories and the personal or family library collections of early pioneer families such as the Weavers, Cloughs, Noyes, Burmisters, Mitchell-Browns, as well as Sharlot Mabridth Hall’s personal library.
