Museum Volunteers
If you have a passion for history and want to make a difference in our community, consider joining our Museum Volunteer Family!
At the Sharlot Hall Museum, we provide our volunteers with a comprehensive Volunteer training program, ongoing support and professional development, opportunities to engage with the area’s history and culture through on-campus and community-based experiences, as well as the space to meet new people and connect with other area residents.
As a museum, we could not exist without our volunteers and we strive to support them in every way possible. We have no minimum time requirement so please be assured that you’ll be able to find the right amount of volunteer time commitment that works for you.

Volunteer Training
The Sharlot Hall Museum offers a robust annual training program for volunteers, beginning in February. The program introduces volunteers to the history and culture of Arizona’s Central Highlands and its peoples, the story of the Sharlot Hall Museum and the remarkable woman it is named for, the behind-the-scenes functions of the Museum and our many volunteer opportunities. This course provides a complete introduction (or refresher!) for new and experienced volunteers alike. New volunteers need not wait until February to start however. We have ongoing training opportunities to work with your schedule.
