Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Sharlot Hall Museum’s inaugural American Heritage Day on Friday, July 3. This new annual tradition brings the spirit of the Fourth of July to life with patriotic ceremonies, live music, historical reenactors, family activities, and old-fashioned summertime fun.

Enjoy a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, performances by the Phoenix Pioneer Brass Band, yard games, hands-on activities, and a lively kiddie parade where costumes are provided and no registration is required. Guests can also enjoy complimentary hot dogs, picnic fixings, chips, drinks, and Mortimer Farms pie from 11:30 AM to 1 PM while supplies last.

Gates open at 10 AM, with activities taking place from 10 AM to 3 PM. Admission is $5 for adults, and children 17 and under are free.
