Patriotic Play Day at Sharlot Hall Museum

Looking for a way to get the kids out of the house on a rainy Saturday? Join us at the museum on Saturday, July 18, beginning at 10:30 AM for a morning of patriotic family fun!
Please note: Due to the forecast, the event is not canceled—we’ll simply be moving all activities indoors, so everyone can stay dry while enjoying the festivities.
We’ll kick off the morning with a cozy storytime featuring heartwarming children’s books about the American flag. After the stories, families are invited to enjoy a hands-on flag-making craft led by our Education Department, along with delicious snacks and plenty of family fun.
Bring the whole family and make some special memories—we look forward to celebrating with you, rain or shine!
The Details:
10:30 AM: Storytime (Please arrive by 10:15 AM so everyone can get settled before we begin.)
11:00 AM: Pop-up kids’ flag-making craft hosted by our Education Department
Snacks: A small treat will be provided for the little ones.
What to Bring: Since we’ll be indoors, just bring your smiles and your creativity!
Admission: Adults are $5 at the Depot entrance, and children are free.
