Fruits of Liberty Tree Program

Liberty is one of the United States’ foundational values, first proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence and later outlined and protected within the Constitution. George Washington once said, “Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth.” Likewise, liberty can be compared to a tree that flourishes with many fruits. The “fruits” of liberty are the benefits we enjoy as citizens of the U.S.A. as a result of liberty.
