Prescott’s Doc Hollidaze Weekend – August 14 to August 16, 2026

Step back into the Old West during Prescott’s Doc HolliDaze Weekend, taking place August 14-16, 2026, in historic downtown Prescott, Arizona. This unique celebration brings Prescott’s rich history to life through engaging presentations, special events, and memorable experiences designed for both local residents and visitors.

An All Weekend Pass is available for $165 and includes admission to all scheduled events. Individual event tickets are also available.

Friday, August 14

The weekend begins with a Victorian Garden Party at Sharlot Hall Museum starting at 5:00 PM. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening reception featuring light bites, live music by Chip Hanna, and the beautiful grounds of one of Prescott’s most iconic historic sites. The Prescott Regulators and their Shady Ladies will perform a special Doc Holliday skit before guests head downtown for a Saloon Crawl.

Participants will receive a wooden nickel redeemable for one signature “Doc Drink” at a participating saloon. Western or 1880s period attire is encouraged but not required.

Saturday, August 15

History enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Wild West History Forum at the historic Elks Theatre from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Featured speakers include Roy Young, Mark Boardman, Peter Brand, Michael Paul Mihaljeich, and Anastasia Sitnina, who will share fascinating stories and research about the American West. Seating is general admission, and concessions will be available throughout the day.

A lunch break will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, with an optional catered lunch at the Hassayampa Inn’s Marina Room. Guests can enjoy a selection of sandwiches and salads while meeting the History Forum speakers before returning for the afternoon sessions.

The day’s events conclude at 4:00 PM with a grave marker dedication for J.D. Kinnear at the Pioneer’s Home Cemetery. Admission to the dedication is free. The new grave marker has been arranged and funded by the Wild West History Association.
