Lecture Series – Doc Holliday and Kate in Prescott

Bradley G. Courtney will be presenting his latest research regarding Doc Holliday and his lady Kate in Prescott. For both of them, it was a time when they were at a crossroads, as individuals and as a couple. This presentation will focus a bit more on Kate than past presentations. After she entered the Arizona Pioneers’ Home in September 1931, some tried to get her story. The pursuit to obtain her recollections is a story unto itself.

Bradley G. Courtney is an extensively published historian/author. He has written five books on the history of Prescott’s infamously famous Whiskey Row. Courtney, a former teacher and Colorado River guide, holds a master’s degree in history from California State University. He is the founder and director of Prescott’s Doc HolliDaze Wild West History Forum.
